Our story
Webfoot Umbrella is a female veteran–owned, locally operated commercial cleaning business dedicated to strengthening Southern Oregon from the inside out. Our team is composed of returning veterans and survivors of domestic violence who are rebuilding their lives through stable employment, skill development, and community support.
Founded in 2019 by owner Malinda Ingersoll during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, Webfoot Umbrella was created to meet an urgent need. While working extended hours in Environmental Services and Infectious Disease Control, Malinda witnessed small business owners struggling to remain open while navigating rapidly changing safety regulations.
By combining her passion for public health, veteran advocacy, survivor empowerment, and small business sustainability, Webfoot Umbrella was born. Today, we continue to provide hospital-grade cleaning services that help Oregon businesses thrive—while offering our employees dignity, purpose, and pride.
